's what a baltimore county father says happened to him when his 6-year-old son justin didn't get off the school bus. terry campbell says he started to driving along all the way to logan elementary school where his kid attend a spokesperson for baltimore county public schools says justin was assigned to the wrong bus but he was never left by himself. campbell says that that's not entirely true. >> as i am on my way up to school he is walking down the street by himself crying. >> the child realized the child was not comfortable after getting off the bus and the bus driver made sure they didn't drive off and kept the child in their sight. >> the transportation department is still trying to reach campbell to talk about what happened. we will keep you posted on this story. >>> montgomery county family must plan a funeral for their young boy who drowned in a pool. a neighbor found the toddler yesterday and performed cpr until help arrive. there was a caretaker and another child at home but it's not clear where they were at the time of the drowning. investigators are trying to determine exa

. tonight police are asking anywith information to call metro crime stoppers. >>> baltimore city will honor a fallen officer on friday. officer forest taylor died last woke from injuries he suffered from a car crash in february. he was critically injured on february 18. officer taylor's cruiser was hit by another car as he was responding to an emergency call. police said taylor had been in the hospital for weeks and was recovering but died from complications that he received from that crash. >> these men and women back up the quality of service with their lives. we see how in this case just responding to a semple call for help, officer taylor put his life before that of another and unfortunately lost that. >> in a statement, interim commissioner anthony batts emergencied the department's support for the family. services will be thursday on north charles street. taylor is survived by his wife and two children. >>> well, we told you last night -- we got the latest on those three chocolate lab puppies stolen from the owner's yard. an anonymous donor has doubled the row ward. gary sullivan call
downtown to fayette street. >>> two men are shot in north baltimore and the police are searching for the gunmen. linda so is live at the police headquarters. what is the latest? >> reporter: the search continues for the suspects and the motive remains uncleared. two men were shot in the arm just before 10:00 last night near north parkway the men are in their 20s and 40s. both victims were shot in the arm. the men were found in a car. but the police say that the shooting did not happen at that election. they believe it happened somewhere else and they drove to that area. and men were taken to near hospitals with non-life threateng injuries. and the search for the suspect continues this morning and the motive is unclear. linda so, "abc 2 news." >>> it is a tough time for people in harford county sheriff's department is preparing for at loss. they're saying good-bye to another sergeant this morning. he died of a heart attack wednesday night. he started feeling the symptoms during the funeral of another colleague who died in a car crash last week. he is survived by a wife and young c

news' sherrie johnson is live this morning in northeast baltimore with the story and what's the latest on the investigation? >> reporter: okay, right now megan, police are still searching for a suspect in this shooting. so that investigation continues. now we are told that classes are set to resume this morning after the campus was on lockdown yesterday and evening classes were also canceled because of the shooting. but they are set to resume classes this morning. this all happened yesterday about 4:15 p.m. witnesses say the victim was inside the morgan state student center playing pool. he was shot inside the student center and he collapsed outside the building. investigators don't think the victim or the gunman were students at morgan state and right now many students are concerned leading to questions about how easy it can be for outsiders to come in and cause trouble. >> i heard a gunshot or like a big noise. so now i came out here to check and i found out it was him on the ground and he was bleeding. >> reporter: not yet released the name of the victim. they're also still searchin
